Looks like everything else except... z-v really? Ugh. Anyone who's played CO knows how not fun it is to reach for z, x-v not any better. That and green isn't new, its Aion's flight bar.
@Zyrusticae Go watch the videos from last year again and come back not disappointed... I'll give you a +1 =P
Seriously, last year I wondered why the hype train behind Tera given how insanely good the preview for B&S was, now I get it. Last year it looked like StreetFighter on crack, not just another MMO.
Yes cause Trion fans just dropped out of the sky and aren't MMO players from other games. No wait, the bulk 70% are from WoW so... But then WoW hold about that of the market share so... Aren't numbers fun =P
WoW has had 1 major patch since Cata launch in Dec? Rift will have had 2 in as many months. No rush, making it good. We don't need the fail that is WoW 4.1 on live.
Very very dumb idea to say out loud. Hhave a come back weekend where people with existing toons get to the level needed to start Velious might have been easier to sell. That said when I left EQ2 leveling a toon was crazy fast. Playing casually, 4-10 hours a week, i think I capped my SK in a month?
@Mynsc Esh you some kind of special. Rift has more at launch than any MMO released since WoW. Rift has a list of "nowhere else" features which makes its claim to next-gen true. Rift has brought in huge numbers, continues to grow and to date its only fault is the completely free world event they didn't need to do went by too fast. Which is QQ for its was fun, why did you end it QQ.
Meanwhile WoW is still working on 4.1 which is rehash content 5? months after launch. Also when asked if WoW would do things Rift does... devs said it costs too much. You bring is 150 mill per month and can't bring in features Rift was able to using a smaller budget to build a whole game. Ugh now I need to rewatch that BlizBlues =P
@Deadalon What are you going on about? Server pops are great, some servers have queues, no servers are dead.
On topic, yes its better to try and fail than do nothing at all. As to the Rift event... it was great. The problem was that phase 2 was blitzed on most servers so lots of people missed it. It almost would have been better, though no sense lore wise, to run phase 2 looped for the whole weekend. Phase 3 being a cinematic and in a 50 zone kind of made mass attendance not possible but then it was to open the new raid so really did we expect level 10 toons to be involved?
On Keenblade phase 2 and 3 were over in the time it took me to eat dinner. Ah well, next time.
Reading it wrong. They are making dailies into weeklies. Ie you can do 7 dailies per week in as little as 1 day after 1.2. Ie weekend warriors won't get less currency than players who run experts err daily.
