@einhanderkiller Better in what way? In what universe is a year of your life without Skyrim worth saving $30? I'd pay that much extra just to have Skyrim right now! Jesus Christ! This is Skyrim, we're talking about! Be serious!
@Undulation But...but Skyrim is so close! I know there are lots of other games this season, but...Skyrim, guys! Maybe you can live for the GOTY edition, but is that really living!? Skyrim!
@PN04 Yeah, too bad it's turned into such a substantial game that can stand on its own merits. It's always really sad when I can't get an awesome, unique experience for the same price as a free 8-bit de-make, because I hate supporting developers and their games.
Sorry, but I don't believe paying $10-$15 instead of nothing for a significantly improved product constitutes "really sad." The game is looking fantastic, and I am looking forward to buying it.
@Cirrus I second the Ass Creed comparison. Hitman has traditionally had a lot of social stealth segments, where fitting into a crowd is crucial--Hitman goes about it with disguises, though.
Also, comparing the game to a more obscure game may not be helpful here; Hitman 2 has probably sold more copies than every Tenchu game combined.
@R Planteer Same here. I had just assumed this would have co-op, so even though I'm disappointed, I'm also kind of relieved, because there is already an overwhelming number of games incoming. I'm still hoping the same for Dungeon Defenders, though.
@Wizardsofwaverly I can't even imagine. It sounds silly, but the literal pain of taking two days off from work and just getting raped in the ass...well, that poor vacation planning has got to haunt them forever.
@FlashJS I haven't finished it (and now Gears is in the way), but what I have played of it with my brothers was certainly enjoyable. I don't know that I'd recommend playing it single-player, but the co-op seems worthwhile. I remember the demo was pretty light on the enemies; it does reach a slightly more Gauntlet-esque consistency.
Skyrim is getting a day one patch, more DLC than you can shake a giant sword at
