I agree with Kaphik. I'm meeting more DKs that are using DG responsibly. I make a point of putting Vigilance on DKs so that when they DG that damn caster (while my Throw is on cooldown) I know I can always taunt the mob right back off him.

My guild seems to have been decimated by Cataclysm. 200+ characters on the books but I struggle to even get a 5-man team together at peak times, let alone enough for a raid. I was really looking forward to experiencing all the new content with the guild but it just hasn't happened.

Recruitment is much harder now too, with everyone after all the XP mules they can get.

Have to agree with Oriflame here. If I'm tanking with a good group and I see the pet as second in the aggro table I smile but if the group isn't so hot then CC pulls can be quite tough. If the timing isn't right I might end up with 4 bad guys all running in different directions after different people, the last thing I need is any extra threat-generating abilities to fight against.

OK, so I'm not the best tank in the world, but if I'm struggling with a pull then don't work against me, we're a team. If you want to turn growl back on after the initial pull is under control then please feel free.

Or adjust your expectations. PuG normal dungeons instead of HCs. OK, some of them take longer than others (HoO, GB) but they a great, fun, way to spend 30-60mins and not nearly as stressful as heroics. HCs in Wrath were easy when the LFD tool came out because everyone was averaging 30-50 iLevel higher than the dungeon itself dropped. When everyone is decked out in ilevel 400+ then cata HCs will be just as easy as those WotLK ones.

Now that more people know the fights normal pugs are a blast.

Perfect timing! I finally got my gear high enough for me to risk tanking HCs at the weekend (about 10 points higher than the dungeon finder would let me) and have been having a blast in my prot spec.

My problem at the moment is I want ALL the talents for pugging HCs as you just never know what kind of group you're going to get. Low-geared healer? I'll have Blood Craze, Impending Victory and War Academy please. Impatient DPS? Gimme Blitz & Battle Trance.

Maybe I need to drop fury and dual-spec prot just to make it a bit easier.

Anyone have any parses that show whether the 20% Victory Rush stacks with the 5% Impending Victory? I've seen both buffs active, and both are consumed at once, but I'm not sure how much it heals for.
