No one is upset that it's "sad". They are upset that they thought they were watching Shawshank Redemption for 99% of the time and ended up getting Sesame Street for that last 1%.
IMHO, no RPG will ever be as thoroughly engrossing and rich as Ultima 7 & 7.5. Truly the pinnacle of the party based RPG system, and until Skyrim I don't think any modern RPG has come close to the richness of the experience.
@spyder My TJ is 12 years old and no severe rust anywhere to be found. And to the Detroit comment...these are all made in Toledo and you will be hard pressed to find a longer lasting and more durable ride anywhere in the world.
Why even buy most games at all? Gamefly works wonders at letting me get my game on while not busting my budget. The only games I buy are ones with immense replay value...everything else is worth waiting for.
You guys are crazy. Bay literally was BORN to make these movies, they are like action porn. Of course he has to throw in all the kiddie jokes and stupid humor to reach a wide audience, but for the most part they are pretty good popcorn flicks. The fight scene in T2 with Prime versus the Decepticons in the forest was outstanding.
Everyone who wants every old school IP to be EXACTLY as they remember it has to realize that a lot has changed since Prime died in 1986. Don't let your preconceptions get in the way of enjoying a good ole American action flick complete with all of the prerequisite comic relief and silly plot holes.
Not every remake of an old IP is going to be BSG for pete's sakes.
What the heck are you talking about? Burnout is pretty much the most basic racing game ever...Hold down right trigger for gas and A for Boost. Steer with left thumbstick. I think left trigger is for brakes but since I have never once uses brakes in Burnout I'm not entirely sure.
Since you hold down boost pretty much the entire time it would be easy for Natal...just have it recognize an old school San Francisco Rush double-pump of the gas for boost. You never really let go of it anyway.
If you want to pick it apart its easy to do so for having to A. stand, B. hold your arms up for extended periods of time. But at least get your whining correct.

The industry needs variable pricing models.
