PixelJunk Monsters Facebook ready for wave after wave of players

Dec 17th 2011 11:09AM (Joystiq)
I guess you could get wings at Fridays ... if there are no other options. Buffalo Wild Wings? Quaker Steak and Lube? Dare I say it ... Anchor Bar!

Looks intriguing, I wish there was more info, I'm not sure I'm ready for the brave new world of spamming my friends if this game sucks cowlicker's ass.

Refreshed 2012 Kia Soul to bow at New York Auto Show

The engine was also no great thing. The 1.6 was a good one, but only offered in the bottom trims. A good 2.0 would be much welcome. That's why I went with a Scion, they're nearly identical cars, otherwise.

Report: Akerson's leadership, pricing strategies at GM drawing more fire

Mar 26th 2011 1:37PM (Autoblog)
Incentives are appropriate on excess merchandise, which of course no one wants, but it happens with older products. Even BMW, Honda and Toyota have to do that. The issue with the 'new' GM is incentives on brand-new Cruze, etc. Automakers spend a lot of money on all-new cars and expensive advertising campaigns to generate demand for new cars. If they can't do that, they're probably not long for this world. Look at Mitsubishi and Suzuki, they have some good products, but there's no demand for them because of their brand, so they resort to incentives, which destroy resale value, undercut profit, etc. It's a vicious cycle and GM is jumping in after one year back. The Volt and Cruze were their best shots and they both missed. That's ugly.

Geneva 2011: 2012 Hyundai i40 is a Sonata wagon we could love

That's why it looks better than the Sonata. Less busy, and the wagon's length helps that, too.

First Drive: 2012 Ford Focus

I've never understood, why are people so obsessed with flat load floors? Why would you want less room just to it's even front to back (owner of a scion xd with foam inserts in the trunk for 'flat' floor).

Rumormill: Mini working on road-going version of WRC Countryman?

Jan 30th 2011 8:57AM (Autoblog)
That's never happening, right? A Mini that clearly intrudes into BMW territory and doesn't help the CAFE ratings. Munich will not be pleased.

Report: Volkwagen Twincharger could be killed

Jan 19th 2011 11:21AM (Autoblog)
Well, these are the guys that couldn't make a reliable straight 4 engine. Of course the twin charger is giving them fits.

I like the squiggly wrap. The Squiggly wrap is awesome. Is that a factory option? Or do I have to find an aftermarket solution for my squiggly wrap needs?

Slim Amazon Kindle 'Shasta' to be first with WiFi?

May 31st 2010 12:27PM (Engadget)
@malexandria1 You're missing the point of his comment. 'opaque' means that it isn't see through. Backlighting a kindle screen will do as much good as backlighting a brick wall. It will stay dark.

The only option to keep the e-ink display and have it lit up is a little led light such as on the thinkpad. But given the tablet form, you'd have to put them on arms, which is just ugly.
