I was in the closed Beta of this game a while back and EVEN THEN other players were really unpleasant. The gameplay was fun, but something about it is a beacon for internet tough-guys. I'd play it again if the community improved, but am totally turned off to it otherwise.
@MLS I amend my previous statement. I would be satisfied if I could throw LL Cool J into the pool. Under no circumstances should he ever outlive Sam Jackson.
Since I actually have something to contribute to this thread I figure I will, if only to get the signal/noise ratio a little higher.
I've been in the beta for a while and have seen the game improve markedly over the last few months. That being said, I've been having a lot of fun playing and considered the lifetime subscription a bargain and jumped at it.
I can totally understand skepticism of the lifetime sub from someone who hasn't been able to play the game yet, which is what makes me think that that pricing plan is really meant to appeal to the beta testers, and as a way to gauge interest from that demographic pre-release.
My only real complaint is that the beards available for characters are not nearly long enough. My wizard is unimpressed.
