Oct 25th 2011 11:00AM (Joystiq)419,000 EUR = $581.82 US dollars
...And this was the reason I never got a NeoGeo when I was younger and the system was actually relevant. There's only so many lemonade stands, paper routes, and lawns to cut when you're a kid and you probably still won't have enough money to buy 1 NeoGeo cart.

Aug 27th 2011 11:14PM (Joystiq)If he would have button mashed, he wouldn't have made it as far as he did.
Then again, if people didn't fall for players who repeatedly rely on super armor the whole time, he wouldn't have made it as far as he did either.

Aug 27th 2011 11:10PM (Joystiq)I'm sorry, did you just use Dante, Akuma, and Wolverine in the same sentence as the word skill? I've seen 2 skilled Dante players that didn't do H linkers the whole time, and I've basically seen no Akuma/Wolverine teams that didn't rely in repeated Tatsu assists with the dive kick loop or the other generic Wolverine cheese.

Aug 23rd 2011 2:19AM (Joystiq)Since when can you parry throws?
You know, for the few clueless idiots I've seen claiming that the parry system "broke" SF3, I've witnessed less than 10% of the thousands of SF3 matches that I've seen or played in actually dominated by someone who could parry on reaction more than 20% of the time.
Please, show me/us a match where the entire match was won and perfected by someone who parried every move the opponent made the entire time, for at least 2 rounds.
