I'm usually very picky about games. Metroid Prime is my favorite game of all time (well 3D game, I won't compare it to Super Metroid). I love Nintendo's extreme polish of their first party action-adventure games. I don't like games that have questionable controls or a lot of immersion killing flaws. However, despite all this, I loved the hell out of Bionic Commando (2009). The game could have been better yes (a bit longer, better boss fights and the story either needed to be more or less serious), but it was still really fun. They really nailed the arm controls with the right balance of realism and faking it to make it fun and playable. You can do some really amazing swings with that Bionic Arm. I think this game will have some cult status in the future. Hopefully Capcom sees fit to give it another go some time.
