I'm chilling at hope with some good friends coming over.....with a "friend" of mine having a party at his house I found out like ten minutes ago. Yeah, great friend, says he'll come here then hosts a party, dodging my calls until I call someone there who was planning to come here. Hooray for fizzled parties! *downs rum'n coke after....around eight jagerbombs, fun stuff!*

That was a great review. Well written, good article overall. Looking back on all the great times I've had with Halo, I can't help but get sentimental. I remember the first Halo party I went to, it was amazingly fun and awesome. Then Halo 2 came around and parties got even better. The best I could do for people was eight, that was as large as it got. Now....now....how things have changed.

I just had a seven hour Halo LAN in my basement......14....14 people....13 people to slaughter.....6 teammates whose asses need saved....Zombiez, Border Patrol, Zombiez Wavez.....Slayer Vanilla, Multi Flag CTF...
It's the first time I've ever maxed out my eight port little hub, the first time I've ever had eight Xbox's all crammed in my basement, 14 dudes + my gf all together having a great time. But seriously, you should see this hub, it's literally electrical taped together, with no lag. Just sometimes people can't join a game, so I restart the hub and rehost and it's all cool for another few hours.
Next weekend we're having a Halo 3 LAN, I can't friggen wait for that! I can't wait to play infection, all that amazing zombie slaying goodness!

*Don't worry, my girlfriend knows how big of a nerd I am, she actually stopped in on the party for a while. Luckily she's a nerd about stuff too, so she understands completely.*

I had Halo 2 a month before it came out. That was the day I had a guy mod my Xbox, put an 80GB hard drive in it and load it up with about 23 games....including Halo 2. Fresh that day. It. Was. Sweet. Very sweet.
Now, you ask yourself....did he take it on live? Nope. Did he try to cheat whatsoever? Nope. Was it wrong......that's up in the air.
I bought Halo 2 Collectors Edition the day it came out, I supported Bungie, I paid to play. In that way I think as far as Halo 2 goes, what I did was fine. And the other games? They were outside of my favorite genres. I would've never bought them, ever. Games I wanted to support, I bought. Games I wouldn't buy, I copied em and enjoyed em for a while, then deleted em.
In my opinion what these people are doing is fine, if. If they buy the game when it comes out. If they don't try to cheat. If they don't leak the ending. Pretty much what it comes down to, is that it's fine when it has no impact on anyone, at all. If it affects someone in a negative way, that's wrong.
MyPS3.... I feel the Xbox 360 is superior to the PS3 based on software, hardware, support, and cost. However, that doesn't mean I go on PS3 Fanboy and say that. Until I'm agitated by someone's actions or words, I just stick to myself. Things might be a little more harmonious for everyone if everyone stuck to that rule. All fanboys alike.

Wow, if I didn't love Bungie and Halo so much I'd feel soiled at the thought of this. Kind of like that Ctrl-Alt-Del comic about Master Chief selling pop and hamburgers and vaginal cream and stuff, lol. But I can forgive this one, lol, it seems like it has some potential.
