Well Valve is probably the worst example you could possibly use to backup your argument since Valve never needs to release another game ever... and they will still make fountains of cash out of Steam. Yes, Valve's not going out of business anytime (ever) soon, but they can afford to spend money making DLC and releasing it for free.

If the maps are of top quality such as the Noble Map pack, then I have absolutely no problem paying 10 bucks to add so much to my gameplay experience. Not to mention the hundreds of custom maps I'll be downloading from Tempest.

I really enjoyed Dead Rising, and I hope other publishers see the success of Case Zero and follow suit. The gaming population has been clamoring for something like this for quite a while, I'm just glad it was successful.
