I really want Russell Brand to host next season. Hopefully he will when that Bedtime Stories movie comes out.

I think alot of the focus will be on Vista and what it will do for games. BTW, whos giving the speech for this?

Has anyone downloaded the HD trailer for Tony Hawk Project 8 off Xbox live? I was quite impressed.

It makes me sad when I think that there's going to be new special editions of my favorite movies when HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray comes out. It wasn't so bad when I made the leap from VHS to DVD, because I didn't really have alot of special editions, aside from the Star Wars Extended Editions.

The other thing that irks me is when movies that really deserve special editions either don't have one or are done in a really bad way. For example, I bought Snatch in January since I didn't already have the movie. It was in this big box and came with cards, and the box listed off all these special features. I was really looking forward to displaying it on my shelf with all my other boxsets-The simpsons, Wayne's World, LOTR, The Office. However, when I opened it, the box had so much unnecessary empty space. The DVD was just the same Superbit DVD that came out, like, 4 years ago. The worst thing was that the DVD didn't have some of the features that the box advertised.

Did anyone else in Ontario see this episode? CTV, who usually shows it was showing American Idol for some reason tonight. But so was Fox and Global. So then CTV switches to Lost 20 minutes into the show, then switches back to American Idol after 8 minutes. Plus, we don't get to download TV shows off iTunes in Canada yet. Looks like i'm bit-torrenting that one.

One thing I notice is when Leno has guests on, you can tell that they've already planned the conversation backstage. Becuase then Leno brings up some seemingly random fact, like "Matthew McConahey,I hear you don't wear deoderant". Then the guest has some story they've already prepared. Conan does this a bit too, but its a little more subtle. Letterman usually doesnt do this.

I also love Letterman's public service announcements. The one last week with Pat Farmer about the bird flu made me piss my pants. I knew exactly what wasgoing to happen, but it was still gold when pat looks in his rearview mirror and sees the bird in his car and says "Oh, crap!". Then blood splats on the windshield!

It'd be nice to have a soundtrack like Oasis, Verve, Blur, Pulp. Imagine walking (or driving) the london streets with Bitersweet Symphony going.
