Except it won't be, everybody shops online where games are much cheaper and arrive usually a day before release date. The only people who shop at brick and mortar shops in the UK are gamers who happened to be passing by and will usually just browse and parents who don't know any better.

Gamestop shut down both of their only two stores in England a few months ago. They both failed to compete with online retailers like Amazon, Play, Shopto and Zavvi.

Wonder if my local Game has any working PS2s I can buy for a pittance, my 60GB PS3 seems to be on the edge of its life as I swear I smelt a burning smell coming from it yesterday.

Valkyria Chronicles is a JSRPG

It's still a JRPG, it just has strategy elements.

I'd say marketing is definitely an issue when it comes to Japanese games. The only JRPG I have ever seen advertised on TV is Final Fantasy. I never saw ads for games like Dark Souls or Valkyria Chronicles here in the UK. And games like Persona 3 and 4 which were released on the PS2 when everybody was moving to the 360, PS3 and Wii had no chance, although it's surprising how that series has managed to actually retain and grow its fanbase even though those two games were released on PS2.

Yeah no thanks, I'll just listen to the Persona 4 soundtrack or something.

I'm actually trying to think which was the worse explanation, it's a close match.

What I've seen in leaked videos doesn't paint a pretty picture. The writing is quite frankly comical even for a video game, especially the answer we're given as to why the Reapers actually harvest organic life.

Remember how Sovereign said you were "incapable of understanding their methods"? Yeah it's because the reasons behind it are stupid as hell and incredibly circular.
