I seriously do not believe anymore that a developer would actually release a game with problems to the PAYING public. This is what I think is happening; 1. Release game 'broken' that way even if pirates download the game they get a 'broken' version 2. Release magical fix 3. Piracy reduced a bit until a crack comes for that particular patch
Apply the steps above for Black ops and it starts to make sense.

Well this ticks me off, they'll look and look and look and the friggen piracy rate but even though ''Street Fighter IV was a big seller worldwide'' they continue to look at those piracy figures and it gets to me it really does.
The way these idiots go on is like they make $2 when actually they make millions. They'll rather ignore the fact that they've made or will make $5m plus or whatever and look at a friggen piracy rate. And you know a lot of people who pirate games purchase them after if they're happy because they know what its like to be screwed sidewards.
I mean like someone said, the console isn't any better. Infact its 100x easier to pirate on the 360 than any other gaming machine known to man.
Also its not like games on PC don't outsell consoles because some do, take for instance Metro 2033.
@Marko I really, really don't think you can ever brick a magical iDevice. Why? Apple included something called DFU mode which...um..well..um lets you restore your idevice.
@AnteSim Completly outrageous! Especially since these games are from the PC and not console so I don't see why they need to be cashing in on top of the subscription fee. The thing I can't get my head around is whether AS2 and Splinter Cell will contain the shitty DRM on top of this 'Internet' service. Personally I won't be using this ever because um well I, like some people like to play their games..offline you see?
@xiLeShadow If you go over to Anandtech the teardown of the new 360S shows that the Wifi is actually an adaptor attached to an internal usb port. So for 199.99 you will expect a 360S + Controler + Power brick and nothing else. No HDD and no wifi. You all know what that means, $$$$$ for Microsoft selling those things as accesories!!
@Leachpunk Yh that was quite a mistake, though I still don't understand why people are banging on about Blu-ray. Adding Blu-ray would make a lot of Xbox owners anoyed and would mean future games on Blu-ray wouldn't be able to be played on older 360s.
