Origami UI on CeBIT web site

Mar 8th 2006 8:04PM (Engadget)
Also all these protoypes I have seen so far look like TOTAL shit from a design standpoint. I mean the sexiest gadgets of all time (not ALL time cuz Im not old enough to really know..so I guess of modern day would be better) would include, almost anything by Apple, Nintendo DS Lite, Sony PSP, etc...but these protoype UMPC's are butt ugly. They gotta come better. I really hope they surprise me tomorrow.

I am a self-proclaimed techno-gadget fiend. I read engadget and other various techie blogs DAILY hungry for new toys and new info leading to newer toys. I am also an early adopter....but Im not really too excited about this UMPC Origami thing. I mean I want one. ButI am not really excited because of past experiences with all gadgets. I dont think I will early adopt anymore. I will wait out for the second generation of these devices that may include windows vista.

She IS rocking a metal gear solid snake style mullet..how cool is that!?!?!

This UMPC Origami sh*t better live up to its hype because I really do suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and want to buy it even though my life is perfectly fine without it.

I want it. I just hope it comes in piano black like the psp or a matte black like my motorola razr. My ipod is black too and so is my car and my clothes. Everything must be black. Black is back again as the new Black.

Nintendo's Revolution offers hope for disabled gamers

I kinda felt really happy when the ipod shuffle was first introduced for pretty much the same reasons. My nephew is nearly blind but loves music. I thought the shuffle was perfect for him because he doesnt need a screen and menus would be too complicated to navigate. I got hima shuffle. He loves it. I hope Travis finds joy in the Revolution.

2005 Xbox 360 success

Dec 28th 2005 1:18AM (Joystiq)
I received my XB360 Premium the day before Xmas. I di reserve it waaaaaaaaaay back in July. Market demand seems to be settling down judging by the going price on EBay these days. I think its a fair console. The games are nice. However, this is only first generation games. I dont think it will take as long for games that fully utilize the 360 to be out on the market as most would suspect. It took roughly a year for the best games for XBOX 1.0 to hit the market. I think developers will adjust quicker to the 360. Im not an expert on this stuff so dont take my word on any of this stuff. I do think XB Live is way ahead any of its competitors consoles for online gaming and that gives the 360 a GREAT advantage. We went from ice age to stone age to industrial age to the internet age. The GUI for the 360 is pretty sweet but could be simplified a little bit more.

The best games are still coming out for XBOX 1.0 (lol) so I cant trash that just yet. I really want to play JAWS. It will just be moved to the bedroom.
