Well, they still have another 800k annual pass participants to invite, so this is just a small part of what's needed. Plus, we don't really know just how large previous beta invites got and most likely the majority of people invited are not going to participate or will only play a couple hours and then quit.
I think it'd be a great idea to add a warlock tanking spec. Right now, warlocks are in the same niche as mages in terms of gear and role, and mages are far more common, mainly because they're easier to level and not as confusing to play at max level. If warlocks could tank, they could fill a role that at this point doesn't exist. It would at least be enough to differentiate between them and mages.
Right now, if you don't play either, the only major difference you'd note is that one drops cookies and ports people in while the other makes cakes and ports people out. At least with a lock tank, there'd be a unique position among clothies and maybe some would decide to try it out. Besides, who doesn't like the idea of a persistent Metamorphosis form?
The ritual of refreshment glyph is exciting to say the least. No more shall mages be forced to type "Click the portal" to drop a table. No more shall mages be forced to wait 5 minutes after one of their companions fails to complete the ritual. No more shall mages be forced to have party members in the area to enjoy the benefits of cake on a table.
I'm surprised that they didn't announce the start of the beta during the press tour. It seems like that would have helped spice up the otherwise languid press announcement.
The Felwood quest chain involving Illidan would have been tremendously better if his parts were voice acted. I don't think it would have taken much, considering that most of his lines seemed to be straight out of Warcraft III.
John Shepard waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were reapers in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Admiral Anderson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY REAPERS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were reapers.
"This is Anderson" the radio crackered. "You must fight the reapers!"
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
"HE GOING TO KILL US" said the reapers
"I will shoot at him" said the Harbinger and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the reapers" he shouted
The radio said "No, John. You are the reapers"
And then John was a husk.

@miles82 If he's advertising for Origin, Joystiq just published an advertisement for steam in the guise of an article. It does seem odd that Joystiq hasn't mentioned the week-long Origin sale but is willing to mention the midweek Steam sale, which happens most weeks.
