Hell, I even read half the damn comments to see some other unique points of view. And I'll say again: whether video games constitute art is obviously a personal opinion in its core, because it depends on your definition of art and whether you've encountered any video games that have met these standards you've set to define art. All I know is, I have had this criteria met by video games numerous times for me, as well as probably millions of others have. If that doesn't constitute art, I don't know what does.
Just because you belittle others because you feel you are intellectually superior, does not in fact MAKE YOU SUPERIOR. In fact, I think I'd say it makes you the exact opposite.

And the fact you mentioned "western", makes it seem like you actually consider Japanese developed games to have much more thought provoking and thematic stories and plots. And that, is a crock of shit without a doubt.
