Bigger is better. And I don't need the extra resolution right now, 1080p is enough for a few more years. Also, I don't have to buy the best video card possible just to run my games at the native resolution. In addition to all that, it also doubles as an analog monitor for vga/component.
Hi. I basically take these cheating comments as compliments now, since it means that you don't think it is possible. It's not that hard, it just takes practice and memorization. Half of it is timing, the other half is using sound. If you have any questions.. ask. Also, yeah blind people have way more practice with this than I do, so I would expect them to be able to beat whole games whereas I can only do a few levels. This video took many tries to get, but I've been able to do it first try while I was stopped at a red light while driving on my gba because it's so easy now.
Also, this video is of a crappy run and I usually do it much faster than this. For instance, not missing the jumps and staying on top of the pipes in the first level and in the second level by the two koopas, who it is safer to avoid by going over top of. The better video from this session got cut off by my stupid camera and only recorded half of it. I uploaded a slightly better one that I took with my 360 webcam, check my other videos.
In response to the news post, I've gotten to the warp before, but it is usually just luck whether I end up in the pipe or at the warp. I have a third video of where I got there but I was so embarrassingly lost at the fact that I made it to the warp that time that I didn't upload that one either.
The reason I held the controller up that high was so that you people could see it better. The first friend I showed it to even said the same thing about there being a mirror. Imagine if it wasn't even on the screen, I would have even more people complaining about a "second person" playing it.
I wish I could play it on my pc with a 360 controller instead of a stupid nes that never works, but I have to eliminate as many of these ideas people have about ways it could be fake as I can.
Rubang B, you'll probably get the second level within a week, but doing them both in a row took me months of practice. Look forward to seeing you steal my thunder :P then we can have some kind of competition with new levels.
"You are using someone else's work without paying for it, and without their permission. That's the definition of the word 'theft'."
Right, because theft has ALWAYS been defined as "using someone else's work. Except it hasn't. Stealing is taking something that isn't yours where the other person is not going to have it anymore. IE stealing a disc. This isn't the same.
