Why is how this book created such a big deal? Steve probably has a room of 1000 graphic designers at his disposal who sit around eating fresh fruit and talking about LOST while waiting for direction from the top.
My guess is a stable version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 Universal with layouts done in Indesign... which we'll have to wait another 6-months for (if we're lucky).
As an art director in the field, I actually appreciate what they've done here.
Two main objectives are usually forefront when concocting a successful ad: - stir a feeling in the consumer (good feeling = buying) - stand out from all the other ads
Sure, we know the TT can't actually do those moves, but with music and action, I felt 2 things: youth and excitement. If I was a single, young guy who considered himself hip and worldly, this would appeal to me.
And as for BMW, what's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? The BMW has it's pricks on the inside.
I've been playing since March, lvl 56 warrior, lvl 19 hunter (one on each side) and I'm done. I've cancelled my account, which ends on Oct 17... I'm debating about BC.
The time commitment involved when playing is just too much and the questing isn't really "fun" for me anymore.
Dungeons are too much of a pain in the butt to get involved (and I'm in a good guild).
Read somewhere your account could be banned if you go to places that are considered "restricted".
If you do get there, there's a tunnel into IF with a rock blocking the door. Get close to it and move the camera about and you can see even the ramp was built into IF.
So where's some pics of Old Iron Forge I hear so much about?
The Lvl 30 Alliance Warrior quest - last part is in a dungeon lvl 35+ on the horde island - don't know anyone who's finished it. Hard to get a group of Ally's in there.
I ninja'ed a chest in VC on my first play - people need to take it easy when someone does something stupid/rude. Sometimes they're just new to the game.
I met my current wife on Webpersonals.com (now Lavalife.com) which I know isn't a game, but it's an online venue and I like adding my 2ยข.
As for meeting someone in game, I think that would be more difficult. It's not a 'dating' forum and would probably be more rare.
The biggest issue is safety. It's easy for someone who's up to no-good to act like someone they're not to lure teens/children. As a parent, you can't be paranoid about the possibility of something happening, but you can teach your kids about being safe in any online environment.
