I was wondering if it was just me that felt this way.
This season of Dexter has been my favourite so far, there's just something about Dexter that makes me feel every season is better than the last. None of the so-called "boring" romances or "dry" storylines have left me bored in any way. Dexter constantly keeps me on the edge of my seat with engaging storylines.
On the other hand, none of the Dexter reviews for this season have made me want to read any more of them. If it wasn't for the fact they were in my RSS reader I would stop reading them.
No offense, but can we have someone else write the Dexter reviews now?
And because of this statement, this nobody (I've never heard of him before, anyway), gets a front page post on Joystiq?
What he said can be applied to anything. As soon as something new comes out, the old gets tossed to the side. The PS2 came out, the the PS1 was never heard of again. Halo 2 came out, and Halo 1 was barely heard of again.
So something new comes out, a game or a console (Something substantially different), and the Wii gets chucked aside? Really? This needs clarifying by some loser, why?
As for using Halo 3 as an example, I agree with the first poster - All credibility lost. There is nothing new in Halo 3. Some updated graphics, which dont even look that great anyway, does not equal something new. Its still the same old shooter. Halo 3 will not sell more 360s. Itll sell to the existing Halo players who probably already have 360s.
And anyone planning on buying a Wii will buy it anyway. Because it IS substantially different.
I'm glad Hideo has said this will be the last game in the series. I personally hated every Metal Gear after Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation (Perhaps with the exception of Portable Ops, that was ok). They were all totally ridiculous.
This trailer hasn't changed my view in the slightest. It started off promising...then went downhill. And what's with the dialogue? I mean, what on earth are they talking about? Complete nonsensical garbage.
I'm still wary about getting a PlayStation 3, although there are a lot of reasons why I want one. I'm currently looking towards a 360.
They do this quite often. They did it a while back for three days only. I don't know what prompts it, but this is the third time it's come around.
Also, you can copy/paste and replace the "mac" with "pc" at the end of the url and get a serial number for the Windows version too, for those using Boot Camp. :)

Rumor - Grand Theft Auto: London for PS3 in Q4 2006
Dec 28th 2005 8:04AM (Joystiq)First came GTA. This contained the cities Liberty City, San Andreas, and Vice City.
Then came GTA: London.
Then came GTA2.
Then there was GTA3 (Liberty City), GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.
It would make sense that they would revisit London now!
And I'll bet that after London they do the city from GTA2, Anywhere City.
