Everyone has this problem whether they realize it or not.
If you want to find out, test a movie that has black bars on top and bottom, then play the video at your standard color settings and see if the black in the credits looks grey, or black as oppossed to the pure black bars on top and bottom.
Many of us submitted this issue in the Beta, but it was not addressed. I called in to microsoft as well as submitted my findings to eurogamer. I'm glad MS finally listed.
For those who are wondering, games are fine at their default setting, but videos in various apps such as the dashboard video, zune, netflix, videoplayer, etc. DVD is not affected as far as i can tell.
Can't you turn on inverted aim in the console settings like you do for the xbox 360? An extra step but atleast it would work, i assume there is something similar for ps3.
These are just good business decisions to have policies In place to keep as much of the content equal. Sure devscan use blu ray apace on ps3. Xbox 360 justneeds the game on multiple discs on it's new DVD format if so.
The current player is the Zune HD and Windows Phones. I would love to see more selection than what netflix offers, or something that would complement it and make it worth having both.
encourage those interested in this genre of game to seek out other reviews and view their results as a whole. There are several reviewers out there that really enjoyed the game and gave it 80-90+ scores. Joystiq's mentions on the bugs and glitches might be correct, but the amount it would detract from a game could vary person to person.
