The issue was a deal breaker for me. I returned my iPhone 4 and went back to my 3G. I voted with my wallet.

Thousands stolen through iTunes/Paypal scam

If anyone falls for these phishing attempts they deserve it. How many times do people need to be told about this stuff and yet they continue to do it. Too bad I say.

Does the Apple TV need 1080p?

Aug 13th 2010 4:27PM (TUAW.com)
At a $99 price point you can pretty much guarantee this thing will be extremely limited in what it can do. It is a failure from the beginning and proves Apple isn't taking this product seriously. There is a large demand out there for a high quality box that can stream not just from itunes, netflix, hulu etc, but also from files on a home network with a good interface and at a decent price. To half-ass it and only support up to 720p just screams "wait for version 2". This thing won't sell and they'll blame the customer for not wanting a product like this instead of blaming their marketing and engineers for creating something underpowered.

Ask Engadget HD: Should I buy a 720p HDTV?

Aug 13th 2010 2:04PM (Engadget HD)
If you can afford to go 1080p instead of 720p then do it. If you are having doubts now and haven't even bought anything yet then you will regret it down the road if you buy a 720p set. Ignore what anyone says about not telling the difference and distance to the set, etc. None of that matters if you have a little voice in the back of your head wondering what could have been.

What happens when your power company comes out and notices something they don't own hanging off their meter and removes it? The meter attached to your home is not yours to mess with. If it were we could all just detach the meter and never pay for power.
