ok now if they can just make a Vagrant Story 2 and get the ps3 to sub $300 and make it stackable (why in the world did they make it a DOME that can't go in my entertainment center without being on top of the stack that's for my dreamcast a slot loader should be STACKABLE!!) I'll buy one (also provided that blu-ray 'wins' this silly media format war and all basic new releases drop to $22 or less MSRP)

mow the real reason for the patent is so another console maker can't get an all in one device that 'could' knock the ds off it's #1 handheld perch without having to pay nintendo a huge settlement (plus $ for every additional phone/game thingy sold) this little patent might be the only thing that has kept the Apple phone thing without buttons and gaming with buttons (ha take that apple you aren't going to even be able to use the iphone name without paying big bucks for it)

in all I think the patent has been perverted into just a way to keep the good ideas into something only big business can afford (the $6800+++ patent application fee makes sure of that for the most part) I think that a patent should not be issued for an IDEA that someone has ZERO intention of using but only holding in order to score big bucks when someone uses it effectively.

another funny thing is even if a patent is being infringed on no legal action seems to take place until there a really big success with it. (kinda like how immersion seemed to wait until their force feedback was aready in every video game controller in existance)

I mean to say the formulation for 'shadow armor' is what you're really buying the suit design in itself is kinda wonky.

hmm level 3 AND knifeproof at 26 OZ./ft^2 I think that's what you're 'really' buying with this suit.. I might be wrong but I think regular kevlar is about that weight for a l3 protection and it's NOT knifeproof. pretty amazing if it's really true

the ds needs a case???? oh crap I've just put it in my pocket and head out the door. it's not like it's a PSP or something.

I like the easy fun games like Fluxx and Chrononauts (mainly because I can win them all the time because people see how the game is played and think it's totally random haha.)

it's likely most if not all the games coming out later this year WILL work with xp and dx9 you just don't get quite as much pretty. besides most pc gamers stick with the sub $200 video cards anyways which probably won't have all the dx10 feature support/shaders/etc. for a year into vista anyways.

if not the games will only sell into the more hardcore gaming crowd. these games should run on anything that a big seller like the sims 2 or half life 2 ran on. (at a lesser resolution graphics turned down of course.)

pretty nice but by the time you add a 39.99 contract(ya think cingular will let you get away with one of these with a cheap plan?) you're talking about spending around $1450 for the 4 gig (and flash memory has gotten LOTS cheaper. only 4 extra gigs for $100 is a real rip off) if wi-max were to start taking off in the next 2 years this thing will be dead in the water.
