I was for a price drop this Holiday season, but reading this makes me agree with Sony. Remember the 360 is 199, there's nothing that Sony can do [short of giving away the system for free, almost] to make the PS3 match the sells of the 360. Sony is keeping the price of the PS3 the same, so that they can at least maximize revenue. The PS3 is going to sell, however a price drop isn't going to significantly increase PS3 system sells, when its going directly against a 199 Xbox 360. A price drop has to significantly increase system sells. The best thing for Sony (not for the consumer) is to sell the system for as much as you can, for as long as you can. Sony may not win the Holiday season, however they've been pretty dominate for most of the year.

I'd love to upgrade my 360 drive, however, I'm just too spolied. 100 dollars for a hard drive, it should be at least 750gb what the 360 needs is an adapter that will allow someone to connect a normal laptop or desktop hardrive to the 360.

Well these minute shortcomings is just the cherry on top of the sundae for me. First issue I had the game was that it was NOT going to have DLC like the 360 version. Second issue, how could you not develop a game like this first on the PS3, and then port to the 360, it would have made for a better game overall. I'm going to pick up Fallout 3, but it'll be for 29.99, or 19.99 as soon as it hits the bargin bin.

I didn't know this game had an online feature, I've been playing it a lot lately. I'm so glad to see that the trophy patch is coming!

You know, really SONY, you know the market is slow, almost recessed, so how about reducing that price. You can't play the market with the gameplan of yesturdays marketplace, you're going to run into problems. I would hope that if there isn't a price drop that there's some rebates, or some real incentives. People on budgets don't care about the value of the PS3, they just need something that fits their budget.

PS3 is a good piece of hardware, but these 2 usb slots, and no card readers, no BC, just takes away alot of luster of the PS3 system.
