I cannot see this as a big deal if it fails to fix a much noted and widely notorious DNS error that many have brought to Sony’s attention previously. Since it was a firmware update (not exactly certain which one) that broke it to begin with. Mind you, that obviously not everyone was effected. Still I cannot help but feel like one of those guys in the new Verizon Wireless commercial talking about the “paperweight mode” of his new Blackberry. The problem specifically being that while the PS3 will connect to the internet. It will fail to connect or stayed connected to the Playstation Network.
$400-$550 USD for an online gaming console that refuses to connect to it’s own network… c’mon guys.
