The game is fairly old (the original i mean), so a rehash isnt a bad idea, as the younger generation of gamers may not have a N64 (although it wasnt too long ago) and they would be missing out on this game.
There a plenty of original IPs out there for the DS, if you want to bitch and moan about someone revamping a classic, then just over look it and go look for something a bit more original. no one is making you buy this game.
Nostalgia(sp?) is not a bad thing. i am really looking forward to this. i still play DKR on the N64.

Ok, my wii strap is working fine and dandy, and even if i do get a bit wild in some games, i still maintain a pressure that keeps it from fleeing wildly from my hands. and depending on the game you are playing, you will sometimes have the nunchuck there to keep it tethered to yourself.
