Youtube. You guys are all missing the killer app here. Youtube videos from the couch. Everytime I have friends over, we end up huddled around my desktop trying to watch a youtube video somebody thinks is hilarious.

Besides my PC is in a different room. This will be insanely useful.

Meanwhile back in reality:

NO mention of how the online will work. NO mention of how microtransactions will work. NO mention of anything concrete.

And Ken specifically says in the Q&A that the US is fine with the price, but that Japan raised a fuss, so here's a price cut! Sweet!

"So what?
I don't care about all the other idiot consumers
I don't buy xbox, ipod or cell phone games because the prices are ridiculous"

Then you won't be buying VC games either. Idiot consumers have more buying power than you do.

Are you seriously comparing Mario 64 with Bejeweled?

No, Super Mario 64 is $10, Bejeweled is $5. But if Microsoft and Apple are both selling Bejeweled for $5, then Nintendo will do the same for NES games. And Nintendo will make a lot of money selling $5 NES games.

Am I the only one who sees $5 as right for classics? Apple just announced casual games at $4.99. Microsoft sells casual games for 400 points($5). The market seems pretty sorted out doesnt it?

As far as the console, 2 Wiimotes plus Wii Sports for $250 is a steal. Sorry to the whiners, but parents and non gamers will LOVE that price.
