According to Remedy on the Alan Wake forums, Alan Wake would have fitted into 2GB without cut-scene cinematics, so technically, 2GB IS enough to satisfy your Alan Wake hunger ;)
I've always been a "fan" of the X-Box, having the original, and then the 360, and have really enjoyed my time with both of them (as well as time with my PS2). For the past 3 years, I've had no problem paying £30 a year for my online subscription to Xbox Live, but this year I've not renewed it. Not implementing steamworks is further evidence that Microsoft are not willing to commit to bettering its services for gamers.
After the latest price drop, I'm seriously considering shelving my 360 and buying a PS3. I don't "take sides" in the whole 360 vs PS3 thing. I bought a 360 because I enjoyed both Halo 1 and 2. The PS3 seems to be offering more to its users now, though.
He'll end up working for Sony, anyway, or pay him to keep quiet for a few years, like dark Alex with the psp.
Personally, Im all for him. You own the console, why can't you do things with it, like install Linux. Sony now needs to work on a way to stop ps3 games being run with the hack.
@bioadam I found it was quite easy until the last 4 or so episodes, which got really quite tough. And the a.i is really good, I thought. It knows when to set a powerplay going - maybe you just need more practice avoiding them.
I'll admit I was disappointed with the LIVE. No-one on, but maybe that's because there was absolutely no advertising or press-packs in the run up to the game. DIdn't even hear about it until I played it in a game store on the demo stand. Glad I bought it!
@FriedConsole I agree with you on RB3, but Split Second, I feel, was terribly overlooked. I picked it up after playing it in a shop and loved every minute I played of it.
Sure, the online doesn't work that well, and at heart it's just an arcade racer with a few twists and turns, but it's got a brilliant physics engine behind it, excellent graphics and car handling.
