What's better about Xbox Live? I own both consoles, so here are my observations....

Hmmm, let's see...well, I can chat with friends while NOT in a game, or if even we are in two different games, that I could NOT live without. They were the FIRST to have things like Netflix and I really enjoy the Zune support.

My biggest complaint with the PS3 is updates. Get sooooo excited to play a new game, tear open the packaging, only to have to sit and wait. And wait. Why do I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for game updates? What if I only have 2 hours to play that night? And don't even mention system updates. Maybe if Sony would actually manage their OWN servers instead of handing them off to a 3rd party, I wouldn't have to turn on my 360 to entertain me while I wait for my PS3 to update. Paying for Live doesn't bother me because I'm paying for quality. Haven't had a single problem with Live, ONCE!

And no, it's not my internet connection. I pay a pretty penny for bandwidth. My 360 always updates in LESS than a minute. Literally 10 seconds for an update, reboot, and I'm playing.

I will admit, I am biased towards the 360 partially becasue of the TYPE of gamer I am. If you like RPGs, shooters, etc. that you like to play with others, the 360 is the way to go. If you like racing games or sports games, buy a PS3....

I haven't touched the PS3, except to watch a movie, since GOW III came out. I get on my Xbox almost every night....

The answer is a really easy one for me. I ALWAYS head for my 360. Sure it had its problems, but it always has a game I want to play. None of the PS3 exclusives I have seen made me want to run out immediately and buy a PS3 just for that game. We even had a RROD on one of our units, sent it back, and received a new unit in the mail a couple weeks later, no problems since.

I will buy a PS3 here soon with yummy tax money, but I guarantee you it will mainly provide our unused Wii some company while we are off playing the 360...

I absolutely loved this game and pray to the video game gods that they don't ruin it by going overboard. Put all your efforts into making another Bioshock that is just as amazing as the first. Who needs another VERY crappy video game movie or the MMO. This is one game that shouldn't be turned into an MMO!

Man, playing the demo I was really disappointed in Jennnifer Morrison's voice acting. She sucked in this. Stick to your annoying character on HOUSE please!

There is a running joke between me and my boyfriend. He sucks at driving in video games that we play together. We played Halo and Crackdown together, and he does a great job, until I get into the car as a passenger. He constantly runs into walls, goes the wrong way, etc. I don't know what it is, he does great on his own...maybe I'm being too much of a back seat driver...

Of course they were going to come out with a bigger hard drive. We can't spend all of our hard-earned money on crap if it won't find on our 360!

I have both a Wii and 360 and I like them equally. I just like each one for different reasons. I use the 360 for online gaming, and the Wii is fun for family friendly games like Zelda. Sounds like Mircosoft is just whining. Not very effective!

DrXym - I have one reason for you why Sony would want to drop the Blu-Ray: porn. The porn industry has recently announced they will be putting out HD DVDs. Back in the 80's when this happened with VCR tapes (there was 2 different formats), the VHS format used by porn won. I think we might see it again...
