No biz-dev in his right mind would say yes to that question before the official announcement for the simple reason is that they want people to keep buying their product. If you announce something new people will hold off on buying the old.
Having worked in the industry and also having experience with getting laid off I can tell you that when someone says this "At this time there is absolutely nothing to worry about, all the core staff are still here at Reloaded and Gamersfirst. I repeat, there is absolutely nothing to panic about" it means that shit is about to hit the fence.
I think the lack of quality software has finally caught up with Nintendo. The best Devs in the industry want nothing to do with Nintendo anymore. The fact that Nintendo hasn't come up with a new IP solid in ages is astonishing. I was wondering how long they are gonna last but with the ios and android deices in the market I see a bleak future for the company if they keep following the same strategy. Lighting does not strike twice Nintendo so forget about the success you had with the Wii and get on with making amazing new IPs you fools!!!!
@JoshMilewski You got a valid point, but I think what scares people if the fact that publishers seeing how profitable that market is might pressure their developers into making social games.
I got both games on day one, started with Bayonetta for about 1 hour it's fun as hell but as soon as I pit dasksiders in I couldn't stop playing it, it's really up to you and what kind of games you like, if you like Zelda type of game with a GOW combat then Darksiders is your choice, if you like DMC then Bayonetta would be the right choice
