Joyswag: Dead Rising 2 - Case Zero

Aug 30th 2010 3:30PM (Joystiq)
A windmill. There's actually space enough, they have to climb a PRETTY damn long ladder to get up to you, you have infinite amounts of electricy, etc. Food and water could prove to be a problem, but shit, you'd be pretty damn safe from the zombies.

I can't find it on neither my Danish or my American account... Where do I find them? :S

Xbox Live March schedule: Free Xbox Live Gold, XBLA sale

Well, I have played the first about 14 missions, when one of my friends had a US 360 - I found it to be extremely funny, partially due to the fact that it is a "shit" game.

1) I found no problem with the controls, and I honestly don't understand all that bitching about the camera, I've never had that much of a problem with it And hey, as far as I can remember, at least, you CAN in fact use a minimap, by pressing one of the buttons.

2) I have no problem with the dialogue (It wasn't THAT bad), nor the voice acting, and it's the Japanese version I can get to play now, so I give a shit about both, honestly - I can't understand it anyway.

3) Have you been playing MW2? In that case, you need to stop immediately, and return back to a game which is actually just remotedly hard. Which, I grant you that, Operation Darkness is. I tried to play Joan d'Arc, a PSP game much like this, once. I was DISSAPOINTED when my character returned to me in the next battle, after dying in one of them. Seriously, it's a STRATEGIC RPG, people SHOULD die and stay dead, :/.

The character death thing - yeah, it might be annoying, but I actually enjoyed the trial-and-error factor it gave the game, and I had no problem with spending a whole lot of hours on one mission

Oh dear, I must be insane. Or, I must have incredibly low standards. Probably both, honestly.

Xbox Live March schedule: Free Xbox Live Gold, XBLA sale

Holy shit, I just got coffee all over my keyboard. Nope, not because I love the hell out of Magic: The Gathering, but because I can FINALLY get Operation Darkness to work on my EU 360. Heck, I own both the Japanese AND U.S. version already, and now I can download it on my japanese account.

You might think it's shit, but fuck that; I think it's great, and now I can finally play it again!

So, we're going to be following Ezio, Mario and all of those other guys there? Well, that could possibly be a good experience.

EA soliciting ideas for Dead Space 2 'Collector's Edition'

A life-size WORKING plasma cutter, duh.

No wait, they're illegal in California! Hurry EA, call them back before someone uses them for something else than cutting cakes!

Nope, they're not. 9 awards, 13 pieces of clothing being awarded. Therefore, 9 items, and 4 duplicates for the other gender.

Reminder: DiRT and Dead Space join Games on Demand

I've also pre-ordered like 10 games this fall, for like 20% of the normal price - no piracy involved.

in Denmark, GameStop have these crazy "Give us 2 used game, get a new one for free" offers, and I can buy a used game for roughly 50DKK (Whereas the new games would retail for 549DKK). I pre-ordered Brütal Legend, Halo:ODST, L4D2, Assassin's Creed 2, etc. this way. There are some titles though, where you have to pay 199DKK + the two games, to pre-order the new game (for an example, MW2), but heck, it's still an excellent offer.

299DKK here in Denmark, for Dead Space (and DiRT, actually). Dead Space can be found for 99DKK new, 50DKK used. New games are usually priced at about 549DKK.

Something ain't fuckin' right.

'If people love it,' Halo's Firefight mode could be added to Reach

Sep 7th 2009 11:53AM (Joystiq)
Holy... "I don't think we've ever been known to really take things away from each successive release"... As mentioned in the article, the Battle Rifle from Halo 3 is not in Halo 3: ODST... And he still think he can say that?

Personally, I won't miss the BR, but seriously - that's like saying that Guitar Hero World Tour was the first "true band experience" in a game...
