My nearest one is getting 60, and one 10-15 minutes away will be getting 210. Yeah, definitely glad I didn't bother trying to get a pre-order.

I very rarely buy console games new, only for titles I've been looking forward to forever. Last one was Kingdom Hearts 2, before that was Metal Gear Solid 3. Console games go way down in price after a year or so, I usually don't mind waiting.

Regarding digital distribution, blech. I made a decision a long time ago-the day digital distribution becomes the standard is the day I pirate my ass off.

Hmph. While the battery would probably last long enough to outlive an average console's lifespan, this does seem to fly in the face of their "next ten years" thing.

There's some advantage to the play history. I love competing with my friends with who's gotten furthest in a big single-player game when we all buy it on release. It's especially fun when a whole lot of people get it (KHII was awesome in that regard).

I assumed "no more than" 250 was PR-ese for "it'll cost 250" since day one, no surprise there. November's fine with me, my Wii fund is only at $120 right now anyways.

Wow, I can't believe people still have their panties in a bunch even after the apology. Flipping out that much over something that actually effects you so little.....surefire way to get a heart attack if I've ever heard one.
