Now you can exchange Club Nintendo Coins for games

Dec 15th 2011 11:46AM (Joystiq)
@foxhound It is free. When you buy a game, you buy the GAME. The points are an extra FREE bonus that come with the game. You don't go to the store and spend $50 so you can get the 50 "coins" attached to the game.

@Roxas560 What's everyone talking about, 10 minutes? I JUST did the update, it took 4m 5s. Not a big loss of time, if you ask me.

I think they could solve this by integrating bluetooth into a charging dock for the 4 moves + subs.

I bought a steam account from a friend and it came with Red Orchestra, and I have to say, I'm not much of a fan.

Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition includes working night vision goggles, original Call of Duty for PSN/XBLA [update]

Sep 11th 2009 2:31PM (Joystiq)
These are not real NVGs... I mean, yes, they will work, but they will work the same way a $50 dollar pair of children's night vision goggles I saw last week at walmart will work. If you look at them, there is a ring of LEDs around each lens. These are probably IR LEDs, meaning humans can't see them. The light that they emit can be picked up by cameras. So it's basically like lighting up a room with an invisible flashlight and being able to see it with your camera. "Good" NVGs use a different technology that picks up light that's already there and amplifies it. Anyone using a camera will see the flashlights strapped to your head.

I'm not trying to bash these, they are pretty cool, but do not be tricked into thinking they are fancy military-grade goggles.
