maybe it would help if they put more titles on more platforms, while they're at it.

I'm sure that taking the Microsoft money-hat for exclusive JRPGs might help certain games break even- but it certainly doesn't help that game reach a wider audience it really needs to succeed. so many games are being left in Japan as you said- but there are also a lot of great games that are being limited by their availability to niche audiences (PSP isn't very popular outside of Japan, and Xbox 360 is a system widely used by gamers who prefer shooters, sports sims, and PC ports).

I'm not saying that it's the solution to their problems- but it couldn't hurt...

If Capcom expects me to take any interest in anything they make before it's released, they can go kick rocks. After all the horseshit they put the Megaman fans through, and all of their stupid demo shenanigans (early MvsC2: HD remix demo on PS3/early RE:6 demo on 360) and their constant re-re-re-releases- I'm pretty much burnt out on them as a company from here on out. I used to be a HUGE Capcom fan, but they have really fallen on hard times lately. First they had a major talent exodus when they shuttered Clover. Then they lost Mikami and Inafune. Next they figured that they only wanted to cater to American tastes and farmed out all their game development to western studios. Everything they release now is either Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, or Street Fighter. I'm tired of it. I used to clamor for a new Darkstalkers- but I have a feeling that the Capcom of 2012 would only ruin everything about a new Darkstalkers release.
So do whatever it is you're going to do, Capcom. But don't ask me to care or participate in unpaid market research. Some companies can ask this of their fans and get a huge outpouring of support- but Capcom has ruined a lot of the goodwill they had fostered over the last 25 years in just the last 3 years. It's really sad.
So release the game or don't. If it's good, maybe I'll buy it- but I won't hold my breath or get my hopes up. I still have a closet full of amazing old Capcom games to keep me busy until they decide to pull their collective head out of the sand.

i was stoked for this game a year ago- but now that the HD collection is in my possession, I don't think I have a need for this game anymore :(

i was really stoked on this game until Sony decided to attach an online pass to it. This game is going to be dead in 3 months. The demo was only available for a couple weeks and Sony has done almost no advertising for it. This game is going to have terrible sales now- and the fans are the ones who get screwed in the long run. I'm not going to give Sony my money this time, but i wish Jaffe the best.

AMAZEBALLS! seriously- an independently developed and digitally distributed release for this game might be the best thing ever for this game. I'm really excited about the possibilities- and this time, there could be potentially less financial risk and much more financial gain for the actual talent at the developer :D

i love the visuals and the fast-paced game play. It's not often that an action-oriented mech game comes along with fast-paced gameplay and intuitive controls.
I only wish there was a single-player campaign based on this game. I get tired of online deathmatch after an hour.

People who realize that it's stupid to pay for a shitty online service. If the 360 were my only gaming device, I'd gladly pay for LIVE, but since I've also got every other platform available- there's no reason to throw money at Microsoft for a lousy service that I rarely used when I did subscribe to it (over 2 years ago).

any word on price for non-members? i'm going to buy it either way- i was just wondering if they'd announced a price for everyone else.

FINALLY. now give us a release date and actually release the game within a month of that date and all will be right. so close...
