@Liquidfingers Infamous 2 isn't DLC, it's a standalone game. Not that it matters if you already had the game anyway.

Apparently not many others have, so they're in dire need of a good trailer to get more people to buy it.

It's a meme originating from a canv.as remix thread. Someone told everyone to remix that image from hyperbole and a half, and they did. So now BLANK all the BLANK is meme there.

The guy responsible for the original thread is from a site I go to, he never lets us forget he started it.

@stiqlol Usually the DLC, adds up in price to more than the original retail value, while only adding a quarter the amount of content. So instead of paying 60 now, you can pay 50 a year later after clearing up the rest of the 15+ amazing titles that came out in these past few months and get 50 dollars worth of dlc + the original game then.

@Klearwater Killer What the hell do you think a comment section is for beyond expressing your own personal opinions and concerns, and fostering discussion? I'm pretty sure the writers handle the info people care about.

I don't get why this model is so popular with players. It's basically devs turning an unpopular game with low subs into a popular game by restricting everything for people who don't go ahead and pay a subscription fee anyway! On top of that, they add a cash shop!

So you're paying 15 a month if you want to play the game comfortably (being able to not have a cash limit, or being able to join a guild, or invite people to parties, whatever other bullshit they put you through). You basically get the equivalent of a demo that tells you to "buy the full game now!" every 10 seconds, while sending someone to your house to spit in your face until you pay up.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review: Paths of desire

Nov 10th 2011 11:09AM (Joystiq)
Sounds like a great game, but i'm worried about the negatives a bit. Technical problems were annoying vanilla oblivion before the unofficial patch, long load times sound horrid because of all the building jumping in cities, and the quests getting repetitive at times was one of my worst fears about this game. Great review though, i'll probably pick it up regardless because of how much fun I had with Oblivion.

My only question however, is why you put all those shiny stars at the end that seem to have no relation to the words you wrote?
