Idiots will say that the x360 version sold more than the ps3 version because of it's superior frame rate.

The frame rate doesn't matter, these games are aimed at the casual audience who can't tell the difference. Madden will sell more on the x360 this year, not because it has a superior frame rate, but because there are currently 6 million 360's in the US (The only place where Madden sells), where as there's less than 2 million ps3's in the US.

Thing is they've put an awful lot of effort into the gameplay for Heavenly Sword, with this game they've put the effort everywhere else.

Yes it all looks beautiful, epic lands, pulling on the reigns of a dragon, but on the demos i've watched, it gets boring quite quickly. Maybe they should put all that effort into gameplay first.

And 4. Has the greatest possible future out of all the consoles.

If anyone actually researched the matter and looked at past trends in the gaming industry, they'd know that the average size of games triples by the end of the consoles life cycle.

Just look up the difference between GTA III, and GTA San Andreas.

Well the reason Spiurits Within got shit on so much was that it was massively hyped, not just by FF fans, but by a significant chunk of the gaming community. Also it saw a pretty big cinema release.

It didn't sit well with the casual audience because the CG looked realistic, but some of the animations looked really weird, and achieved the uncanny valley effect. As well as the plot not making that much sense.

It got discarded by the FF fan base because it had nothing to do with the games. So therefore - hardly anyone liked it. Personally i didn't think it was THAT good, but as a stand alone film, it's a lot better than Advent Children - which is really just a chain of really cool fight sequences mixed together.

Yeh if this was the ps3's fault then they would have just delayed the ps3 version and released the 360 version this fall, and Take Two need the money right now.

So if they delayed both versions then theres obviously a problem with the 360 version, or even both of the versions. Either way the 360 is involved.

I'm trying not to be bias but i'm inclined to believe it is the 360's fault, what with this random news coming out about future games needing a HDD, right before the delay of GTA IV.

Looks to be way better than COD3, and the multiplayer looks great, but for most titles what i'm interested in is the single player campaign - and tbh, Haze's single player campaign looks way more interesting.

Please, please, please put Cowboy Bebop on blu-ray. My crappy VHS quality files on my computer don't do the anime justice.

Well i'm a massive fan of LOST but this just doesn't look that great. I thought the cave and jungle environments looked good graphically, but the character models UGH. Was that supposed to be Sawyer? That was like worse than ps2 graphics.

How do you fight in the game anyway? All it showed was this new character just running away from stuff.
