@Bakuru What I usually do is split the movie in to two files so it can fit, but really, the ps3 is not the ideal way to be watching hd movies, you could get a media player that natively plays mkvs from ntfs drives for around $80 nowadays.

Also this post applies to 360 users too, since the 360 only reads FAT32 too.

I just used it last night, I was at a friends place watching Lopez Tonight and then had to leave so I pulled out my phone, typed in lopez, top result was the same channel i was watching at my friends apartment and hit record and also changed the channel. got home, rewinded all the way to where i had reached before i left my friends' and resumed watching. amazing. the only thing i wish i could have done would be to have paused it instead of having to had rewind it. But yeah video streaming and more specific dvr controls would be great. I kind of want to complain about the lag between the phone and cable box but i mean come on, this is a great enough feat on its own.

@Jitaroo I forgot to mention that most phones now have a little thing called brightness setting, you might want to check that out.

Excuse me, but if my phone is on silent and no sound is being made while i'm texting, what business is it to you? How is it tasteless when I'm keeping myself entertained because the director hasn't done a good job enough himself? The only time I text is when the film isn't good, and that's not my fault.

This is a stupid post if you think people who have phones on silent need to walk outside of the cinema to text.

@Smurf How can you say that without properly assessing the other side's point of view? The reason they are doing this is because in countries like the UAE blackberries are becoming very popular among general audiences, and not just business men/women. Blackberries are meant for that and they way they are being used now over there are just ridiculous, everyone just buys a Blackberry because of the Blackberry messenger and use that. In the beginning it was fine, but now after they added the feature that lets you send a message to a bunch of people, lots of rumors have been spread which are completely whack such as lies about people dying or new laws being made. This much more serious than it looks in my post, and I'm all for this.

Oh man am I glad I'm not the only person who felt that way about Betty! I've always hated the way she treats sally but this episode she blew it! And the way she was when Don wanted her out a month ago was just ridiculous! This new betty is getting all over my nerves, it's gotten me calling her names in 5 different languages and yet I can't vent my anger out enough!

I dont know about his campus, but at my university, internet costs extra in dorm rooms and even though campus wide wifi is free and in dorm room lobbies, they don't extend to dorm rooms. Linksys have an airport express like device, i'm not sure how much it runs but i'm sure its less that $100. That could be the best way to take advantage of your Ethernet through your ipad.
