Long server queue times suck hard. Long queue's are good. Yeah I said it... they are good. Of course that said I don't ever want to wait in a queue. Now all that said the reason they are good is because the natural course of mmos is that people play a month and then skip off to something else. So the times will drop. Now if they added 30 servers to lower queues you'd have empty servers.
It really is hard to strike that balance that will keep a server populated because add too many servers and then you gotta do merges later. Add too few and you have 2 hour long queue times and people will cancel because they can't play. I really am hoping things work out in the next week though. Hoping to have my copy by next fri.
@Felnor Ah ok, I guess that makes sense then. I'm not the one doing the ordering. Getting the CE as a gift so it's gotta be shipped. Sadly it's also not being shipped over night or anything so will delay my play time further :|
Ok I can't post on the game forums and I don't know if anyone will see this let alone reply. But just what is this grace period? Like what does it even signify? If I don't register before the 22nd then what I don't get to play or something? I'm so lost why this is even needed honestly.
I am wondering because my copy won't be getting ordered until tomorrow and chances are I won't get it until after the 22nd since it won't be over night shipping. So please if someone can reply explaining this grace period I would appreciate it.
I dropped my wow sub a while back. And as much as I enjoyed my time I'm also glad I'm not playing. The great thing is that glitch is open to all. Subscribers and non. Do you get more and have a slightly easier time playing glitch as a subscriber? Sure a little, you get tp tokens and credits to make your self look great. But that's it and the game doesn't suffer if you don't subscribe. This is something I wish more game developers would realize.
It's pretty simple if you ask me. Yes people want to play your games and they don't want to be told I'm sorry but unless you pay then your game time stops here for the day. They want to play so why would you stop them from doing just that?
@iceveiled Yes celebrities are much worse. Say hello to "Chad Ochocinco" I laugh every time I watch games he's playing in and the announcers call him "Chad Johnson" and then correct them self. I laughed even more when the announcer said "Just change your name back".
So let me see here. Cata gets developed they move to 1 point every other level 1 ability the other levels. Reasoning being "we want every level to feel important". I'm pretty sure I remember that correctly, along with them wanting you to feel like your spec mattered at level 10. Now first point isn't until 15 and we proceed not to get a point for a while after that. If all that wasn't enough, blizzard once again doesn't think far enough ahead. What is going to happen with the expansion after MoP? We'll be at level 95 more then likely at that point and be looking down the barrel of yet another talent change because they won't very easily be able to use this system for that.
I want to like this expansion, I really do. I mean the pandas look good and all but at the same time this just feels like death of the game for me. I unsubbed a while back figuring when the next one came out I'd be reinvigorated but this just isn't doing much for me. Also besides all that I am not a pvp'er and it just seems like theirs no evil pressence and it might revolve primarily around HvA. Still too early to tell but so far I am not overly excited.
@geniuswithagun problem is all the fps fanboys. Yes fps not just cod even though I just don't understand why it does so good when it's just yet another fps. But I digress Skyrim and Forza 4 are the ones I'm waiting on. I have a feeling skyrim can very easily fill up a couple hundred hours of play time if not more lol
I'm still extremely disappointed by the out of car stuff. I'm holding out hope that it's barely used. I have a lot of great memories from need for speed years ago. Haven't had that feeling in a while.
Sorry but if it's a racing game then awesome, but everything I've seen has pretty pretty horrible. I'll wait to pass judgement til I play the demo but all I can think about is the e3 clip where it was some random guy running and you pushing x or y at random times. That part alone is almost reason enough for me to have no interest in the game.
