"hit the skids like everyone else" Yuk yuk, but I will amend my statement to read: not enough downside for the lawyers
"There are (read ARE) also ways to sanction them for frivolous suits. That is the job of the courts to do to set more examples. Yet they can’t do so under the current statutory allowances." Wow is that classic lawyer doublespeak. So are you saying they can or they can't.
"Just screaming lawyers are the bad guys" I don't recall screaming, just stating my opinion (which could easily be wrong, so sue me.) In fact I didn't even say that lawyers were bad guys, but that there was no (I mean not enough) downside for them, which implies a problem with the system. In fact I think that, as a group, lawyers are no better or worse than any other people, they're just human beings.
