There are so many reasons that this could be nothing more than a rumour I would be here all day. However the most obvious one is why would apple spend money on something that reduces the battery life of a device you are already selling bucketloads of for only a few months now?

It's not EA's fault without native support for a headset then there is nothing they can do. I doubt that they will decide to include it any time soon, Out of all the consoles in recent memory the wii has by far the most accessories if they were thinking about headset support we would have heard about it long before now.

I truly hate the way we have gone mad with political correctness however I don't think this is PC gone mad. This game is aimed at people of all ages but in particular the youth market. Most of us have common sense and the use of the word spastic would probably be more of source of amusement than anything else.

But it's totally out of order for younger kids to think it's ok to go around calling people spastics, it might not mean much anywhere else but here in the UK it's right up there with some of the offensive terms you can't get away with.
