Meh, if its just more Challenge map packs, then its a pass.
If its more like the Catwoman missions that actually take the character into Arkham City, then I'll get it.... but after Robin and Nightwing, I'm not holding my breath.
Look, if I cared about playing every single game, I would own all the consoles. Its that simple. Otherwise, they don't want my money so oh well. Plenty of other games to play. Any other whining about the matter = butt hurt fanboy.
As a competitor in the world of Apple TV, Google TV, etc. An excellent idea that makes sense. But I wouldn't expect it to play proper Xbox games, even if they were downloadable (like I doubt Assassin's Creed or Fallout 3), but more of the Arcade and Indie titles. Pretty cool actually.
Now just get more entertainment apps to really compete w/ Roku, et al, and it would be a box worth having.
Holy christ I've played this game twice over and been done with it since November 2011. The PC is just now getting patches?
Why do I want to invest in PC gaming again? Because of some graphics upgrades and so I can play with a keyboard while waiting months for patches? yeah, I'll pass.
Despite the tone, the comment is right. Hypothetically, if Neo Geo sold this for $200 - $300, WHY would you choose this over a Vita? It makes no sense.
It would be like selling a handheld N64 for $250 alongside a 3DS. Why?
This is a cool portable, but maybe $150 or less for such a niche market.
Just once, I'd like to see a console manufacturer pull an Apple an announce hardware the very day it goes on sale. Imagine the insanity and bloodshed. Would make for some good 6 o'clock news.
@Rather Dashing Right, New Vegas and Mass Effect 3 just are not enjoyable at all because of the hardware. Everyone I know is having the worst time of their lives booting up their Xbox or PS3, everyday, and playing games, every day.
No. It doesn't. I tend to ONE game straight. Last year around this time I played through FO3, TWICE, with it freezing on me maybe 2 or 3 times in a 3 month span.
Meanwhile, New Vegas scares the living crap out of me out of the # of times its locked up on me.
Regardless, let's just say you are correct for a moment (and completely ignore that YOU might be having hardware issues in general).... FO3 is the PREDECESSOR which means the kinks and bugs should be worked for the next iteration. If gave you a car to drive that's missing 1 lugnut from each rim and you knew it... how the hell do you end up losing a 2nd lugnut rather than make sure you have ALL the lugnuts? Its still a massive oversight.
Also... I just started play New Vegas... in 2012. I've been playing for about 2 months now and I'm still running into constant freezes. Since I save like a hoarding madman, its not exactly game-breaking or frustrating, but its definitely happening a lot more than FO3 ever did for me. But the point there is... how old is New Vegas now and STILL having issues? I download every single update they put out.
Overall, with the deal... that's just a dumb deal if you ask me. Basing revenue on metacritic scoring? Bad, bad, bad idea if you ask me.

Report: Capcom sees 'no distinction' between on-disc and off-disc DLC
Apr 3rd 2012 11:36AM (Joystiq)What games again?
Argument stands, I won't miss Capcom at all.... they can go find a broom closet with Sega and all go f*** themselves for all I care.
Won't buy another Capcom game ever again.. last one was Dead Rising 2. And unlike most drama-queen fanboys, I actually do what I say I'm going to do.
