This time next year it will have all settled down, and the 'community' will only be the better for it, if that's what you care about.

Dec 16th 2010 3:29PM (Joystiq)If developers are leaving over a conflict with marketing, the company has a serious problem. Marketing is a secondary process to a devopment studio's business. What should happen is that developers hand a game to marketing and say 'now YOU figure out how to sell it'. We'll only keep getting the same sanitised, safe crap otherwise. Thank god at least indie developers are unencumbered by these parasites so we can still see the occasional new idea.
