Yeah I think I heard that in his Unreal PC days he was less douchey. I think another aspect is that around the time of GoW, there weren't a lot of "attractive" males that actually dealt with the creative process of a game, if there were they were PR and stuff. I remember Tina Wood and whats her face on G4 would say he was so hot all the time and I was just like "Really? He seems like a mega douche."

I didn't much care until he actually bad mouthed Mirror's Edge. WTF. He made the same game twice and he is dogging something that actually pushed the genera a bit.

Epic games tend to be great for the first two days, then you see all the immense things that are wrong with it, and you sell it.

And is it just me or does he TRY to be cool/douche? I mean seriously? "I can't say a damn thing about it no matter how many alcoholic beverages you might try and feed me! Well, maybe if you bribe me with hookers and blow, that might work."

I seriously hope when he says this shit in person the interviewer just looks at him and shakes his/her head.

Honestly? MW2? With all the games that exist they pick MW2? Have they tried to play it? Because I am sure once they beat the campaign twice and get all the achievements they will want to drop it, because all MP has become is 14 year olds running around with Akimbo 1887s, which have an absolutely unrealistic range (trust me... I own 2 shotguns). Why not petition for something more meaningful?

Just because he got it tattooed doesn't mean he is trying to prove any loyalty once so ever. Maybe he just really likes the type of games Lionhead has released, maybe they influenced his life. I seriously doubt he would spend the money on a permanent medium to gain the attention and adoration of a dev. studio.

I should have known most of the comments would end up being "this is stupid." It is a personal choice, an opinion, thus it cannot be labeled right or wrong, smart or stupid. You don't like tattoos, lion head, both, whatever, you don't have to. But he isn't stupid for doing it.

And odds are if a chick cares enough to ask she is either interested in you anyways or is a total stranger. I have come to the conclusion at least half of the core gaming populace is completely ignorant when it comes to tattoos. Not everything can be a totally rad japanese script tattoo for "strengh" or "for the horde."

I hope so. I know when they announced MW2 they were all "This isn't branded as COD" and well, it got branded COD. I don't know if that was Activision's Nazi rule or the IW guys getting cold feet. I really hope they go back to being independent. Lord knows they could make some huge bank.

Are you serious? Honestly? If anything IW is trying to show people what war is really like, and how it can honestly turn out. You played a character who was in the middle of an atomic blast as he died. I actually felt sad when Price, Griggs, and Gaz died. You spend most of the game with some or all of them, and have to watch them die. In most shooters the only ones who die are the random NPCs that have no names, but in COD4 the closest characters are killed. It made me feel like they were real people, and how things can really turn out on the other side of the news broadcast.

I love how when a studio gains mass recognition, and for good reason, people decide from some backwards part of their brain that they are just doing it for money, or are trying to hatch some evil plot to look better. Is it so hard to believe a big studio who has made many lucrative titles can actually truly care about their game?
