As character creation tools get more sophisticated and robust, there's no doubt that basement dwellers everywhere are going to turn them to the dark side.

Funny that this is coming to fruition...I heard rumors of it a long time ago, but dismissed them as ridiculous because the source material wouldn't make a good game. How silly of me- source material doesn't matter.

It's funny to see manufacturers fight back by sticking it to retailers who were giving them the shaft by pushing "used" copies of games on every consumer as part of their business model.

M: "You can sell our game."
R: "I'll sell your game, alright...five times. But the last four times, you won't see a dime."
M: "Cool. Well, now I'm going to sell my game directly to people online and YOU won't see a fime."

My only question is, will any of the new characters be challengers to make it onto this list.

I cheer for the PS3 because of my love for overblown RPGs filled with awful voice acting. (Obviously, Star Ocean 4 coming out for XBOX360 first was just a mistake.)
