why on earth would you buy a ps3 when you could get the innovative, technologically advanced, highly touted and critically acclaimed pspGo! for the exact same price???

i'm not here as an iPod/iPhone or Nintendo fanboy, just pointing out a simple business strategy that Apple and Nintendo has used... compatibility! The charging dock/cable that came with the very first iPod still works with the new models! And Nintendo goes oujt of its way to insure backward compatibility, putting the big port for old GameBoy cartridges in all of the DS's, and Gamecube Ports in the Wii (and yes, I had a Gamecube so this was useful). So, even if you bought no new games for the Wii or DS, you still could buy the hardware and not miss a beat, plus the new hardware added SIGNIFICANT new features! Will I buy the Go!? No, because my PSP 2000 still works great, I have Gamefly so I rent my games, and I have accessories that would be rendered useless with the new one. If the Go! had at least added more features (We Made It Smaller is not a feature) like a camera or touch screen or ANYTHING, then I would have thunk about it....
