Recent PS3 updates prompt more complaints of console failures

Jan 21st 2010 8:40PM (Engadget)
After 3.10, my console seemed to wipe some of my personalization. It forgot my media server and my themes. I reapplied them all and it seems fine, but it's annoying.

PSP Go review

Sep 28th 2009 9:57AM (Engadget)
Thanks for the review. Confirms what I thought and supports yesterday's purchase of a PSP-3000. I should get additional memory thought, but at least I can hold on to my GTA discs.

Aircell's Gogo in-flight WiFi goes live commercially on Virgin America

Dec 3rd 2008 8:01PM (Engadget)
I was on an AA flight from SFO to JFK two weeks ago and there were brochures directing people to log on. Problem was, the service wasn't turned on... or maybe it hadn't launched yet. I don't think the flight attendants knew how it worked. The brochures looked like they'd been there for a while, so I was surprised that the service wasn't actually available on the flight.

iPhone 2.1 update: the aftermath

Sep 14th 2008 1:49PM (Engadget)
I'm getting a lot more call failures now. And folks are telling me that they're going straight to vmail. And I'm getting random "No Service" messages that require me to restart... ugh.

More "MacBook Air" evidence wafts by

Jan 14th 2008 6:32PM (Engadget)
Actually, 'macbookair' (no space) would not have arbitrarily produced a sponsored link. Apple would have had to actually purchase it. It actually isn't too far fetched that they'd buy 'macbooknano' or '[-]red' since they'd only pay if someone were to search on it. Doesn't really matter now since it it's produce store.apple.com anymore. If one were to enter 'macbook air' (with a space), the results could be quite different. You would have had to specify the longer string. Enough for today... enjoy the keynote!

Rumor: Hitman movie watered down for PG-13

Oct 10th 2007 11:11PM (Joystiq)
I just saw the trailer during tonight's episode of South Park. It was rated R. I think this rumor is either BS, or a minor publicity stunt, or both.

I was a V customer for a while. They always allowed me to do this. I switched to Cingular because I change phones Cingular 8525.

Again, I say, Sgt. Johnson. Check my prior post for my reason. Trust me. It makes sense.

Joyswag: Joystiq's Legendary Halo 3 Giveaway

Sgt. Johnson -- If for no other reason than because I wouldn't want it uttered, ever, that I just got a [insert your favorite colloquialism for a violent butt-whoopin] by anyone named Sgt. Johnson. Sounds like a bad Chappelle joke... on a various levels.
