BTW the article says that the Milky Way bar was from an are in the US so saying you'll get only "American" (which in my opinion is not a proper term for something of US-orgin) because anythiung else is bad quality, that's just plain hypocritical.

Well Cinderealla started out as a slave. Aladdin was homeless, Pinochio got drunk, Bambi's Mother was murdered, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys ran away from their homes vand convince other kids to do the same. So I think keeping tabs on Disney's Integrity isn't a smooth move.

Damn I guess i cant pitch in my script of a strong-willed Latina who crosses the border to the US, goes on broadway-musical-style hijinks and becomes a princess in the end, huh?

I understand that it's a disney movie. But in a story telling perspective, wouldnt you think that would be a great story. Imagine a strong-willed Black women in those times that is working under a white family just to g o on an adventure and show those people that she is more than just a maid and have a climatci ending where she would be come a princess (in any sense of the word). I'd watch it. Besides there were African-Americans working for white people at the time. I wouldnt say that they were better off working for said white people but it would be an interesting setting for the character to start off with.

I'm sorry but why is everyone complaining, as a minority, I feel like we should be at least grateful that we have a Black heroine who's strong-willed. I mean the writer who wrote it is Black. So the Prince is ethnically ambiguous, but with an indian name and brazilian voice actor, we should be happy that Disney thought of ethnic diversity. Be happy that she is not gonna enbd up with a white prince!
Listen I havent seen a Hispanic princess yet nor a Latin Prince. So I believe that this movie (alongside with Aladdin) brings us closer to more ethnically diverse characters.
