Don't get me wrong, I don't have some Fanboy rage on because they decided to cancel the project, that's their choice. I do feel that the reasoning is, let's say 'questionable' instead of 'a lie', given Gilbert's reported status of the game. If it was the other project that was keeping them busy that's what should have been said.

Here are some reasons that would have felt less disingenuous than the statement that was made:
- Hothead were busy with another, as yet unannounced, title.
- Episode 2 was unprofitable.
- We had too much on our plate (a comic, two conventions and a charity).
- We just didn't want to.

Obviously that was meant to say that I "can't" rage-sell games to EB.

So if DeathSpank is going into certification, the rest (ie designers, writers and artists) of Hothead are free to work on other things. In other words Holkins outright lied to you, and by extension, us.

This is one of the things I hate about digital distribution, I can rage-sell games to EB when stuff like this happens.

Were they the geniuses behind the F.A.G.S. campaign? 'Cause that was a real class act.
