@witmen Now that I think about it....the S3 powerhouse I listed is probably one of the LTE devices coming out Q3 2011 from what i heard. This slide might actually be legit for a S2.5.....pretty lame now that I think about it.
@witmen It amazes me how misinformed people are on here. I don't think this is a refreshed Storm 2 but the Storm 3 itself. From sources I've spoken with these specs seem accurate except the app memory might actually be bumped up to 1GB instead of 512MB. BTW...THATS APP MEMORY not internal memory which people are speculating on here. I highly doubt they would go with the Storm 1 having 1gb internal memory to the Storm 2 having 2gb internal memory to the Storm 3 downgrading to 512mb.
I have heard 512MB-1GB app memory and most likely more than 2GB internal or 16GB external Micro SD storage.
My Storm 2 has 256MB app memory, 2GB internal memory, and came with a 16GB storage card.
Also, I'm almost positive the processor will be 1Ghz from what I'm hearing. I've also heard many times that the screen resolution would be near the Iphone 4. Again these are not facts but from what I've heard from great sources that have been accurate on the Crackberry forums.
I've also heard it will be thinner than the Storm 2 and that it might have an OS that stands out from the standard OS6 and include widgets.
I think this might be an old slide and an earlier revision of the Storm 3 had 512mb, then may have been updated to 1GB. In a nutshell...I'm speculating the specs to be...
-1GHz Processor -512MB-1GB App memory -2GB-8GB Internal Storage And/Or -16GB+ External MicroSD Storage -HD Resolution screen (Probably same size 3.25") -5MP camera w/flash -OS6 (Variant?) -Some form of altered/improved surepress screen -Thinner than Storm 2 (I HOPE!) -Could be one of Verizon's first LTE phones
If this is all true it should be a pretty great phone. I know the Storm 1 had it's problems, the Storm 2 has become a pretty good phone with updates till now. It is in testing for OS6 right now too. I'm hoping it will run it well with only 256MB of RAM though.
All in all this iteration might actually be pretty good and on par with competitors. Time will tell.
@thinmac Interesting. What kind of Android phone did you have? I'm a big Blackberry fan but have always been impressed by Android. There's just something about Blackberrys that keep me. I can't explain it.
