It WOULD be cool, though, if MSFT could enable this to support Majestic type gaming on the consoles...that was a great game that happened to get hit with HORRIBLE timing.

I tend to agree with this...and media companies are to blame, as are the agencies/industry in general. We've priced online ads so low that they were being bought by spammers and other "non-quality" brands. Now we're all suffering through this problem with no good solution in sight.

Calm down. I used to work at a marketing and branding firm...let's look carefully at the "logo" that we've seen. Think about this Wii = "We", those two little "i" letters look an awfull lot like people. Their agency is going to spend a BOATLOAD of cash trying to convince people that it IS the next-gen console of choice for "community."
Oh, and for the record, 1PS2 (died), 1XBOX (died), 1XBOX 360, 3 WinXP PCs, 1 Mac (died), 1 Intel Mac; so no, I'm not a "fanboy."

Here's the deal on this...I bought three (3) YES, FREAKING 3 XBOXes. The freaking o-ring that drove the DVD tray kept breaking on me. Now I've got a 360 and the wifey and I like to play some RPGs (the Baldur's Gate type) together and there are a few of these types of games that are out for the XBOX that are completely useless on the 360. MSFT's promise of backwards compatibility is pretty meaningless if you're not going to make it work for everything.

Same here, my dad, who grew up in the early 40s-50s HATED mayo so I grew up w/ MW. I would agree that it is good in the potato salad, etc..., or, when I was a kid, on wonder bread, with bologna and fritos.
