Palm App catalog hits 1,000 apps... okay, 946

Dec 31st 2009 8:06PM (Engadget)
@Wes Steele

Exactly the same thing I thought. Not sure if Engadget is trying to show bias toward the iPhone app catalog. Would of been a smarter move to wait till they actually hit 1000 or just say 900.

So, what'd you get?

My girlfriend did dress up in a sexy Christmas outfit which and completely surprised me :P

But I got a 2nd graphics card, a 1.5 TB drive for my rig and a laser printer so I'm pretty happy.

What's the point of a switch to turn off the screen when you turn the screen back on it resets the entire system?

Amazon offers $50 PSN card with PSP Go purchases, for tonight only

Honestly, after being in the PSP mod scene I have no interest in any of the reincarnations of the PSP. Sony, like M$, will forever lock the hell out of their systems and the first generation systems can do so much more than the newer versions could ever do.

Love hearing talk about new PSPs can seeing results like the PSP Go, however, with such a high price point and older gens that are so easy to mod with the exact same features. I don't see myself ever purchasing another PSP unless forced or if the mod scene can get a stranglehold the next gen of PSP firmware.

Exactly, MS: 1 Consumers: 0

What douche bags... Seriously. I'm trying to refrain myself from going on a tirade about how annoying companies who do this are... But that wouldn't be too constructive now, would it?

I'm happy I can finally turn data services off. It helps when I'm stuck in a large building and it continuously drains my battery while looking for internet all day.

DJ Mouse eliminates 'the science of mixing music' with a jog wheel

Aug 20th 2009 1:39PM (Engadget)
I second that. Not to mention, how the hell are you supposed to scratch and beatmatch on 2 inch jog wheel. I had a hard time adjusting to my CDJ-400.

I mean, I'm always up for new gadgets to bring more DJs into the market but this... this is stupid.

I'm very satisfied with my Pre. So is my best friends girlfriend. So there's two more to the satisfactory list.

A label writer? Hehe, this could be nifty! :)
